Welcome to the Legacy of Drizzt Do'Urden Club's first contest: Drizzt in our world.

Your task is to either illustrate or/and write what it might be like for our favourite drow to be thrown into our world. How will he react to all the technology, people, and places? Will he freak out at the site of a skyscraper or get mesmerised by something as simple as a washing machine? The choice is yours.

Some examples: Drizzt learning to drive, discovering a computer, finding out about his own books/fanfiction, indoor plumbing, video games, electricity, etc. Really the choices are unlimited, and probably rather humerus in most cases.

Art:
- Can be drawn, painted, rendered, photomaniped etc.
- Should have a decent background after all its about the world around him.

Writing:
- Must center around Drizzt and his new experiences on earth, but you can add your own characters (or even yourself if you want).
- It may be in 'skit' from if you wish.


General Rules:
- Must portray Drizzt on earth
- Should depict/tell his reaction to something or he could actually be trying some things we take for granted everyday.
- Must be a new drawing/writing for this contest, and a link to our main page must be placed in the artist comments.
- You must be a member of this club to enter.
- You can only enter once, but you are allowed to enter in both the art and writing, so you can have a total of two entries.

A first and second winner will be chosen from both categories, and will be decided by members through a noteing system.

Winning entries will receive a feature in the clubs main journal, as well as a feature for a month on :devkeelerleah:s main page. More prizes may be announced at a later point. I am also in the process of creating a member 'point' system (similar to Lolth-Scourge) to encourage member participation, so everyone who enteres and votes will get the correct participation credit. (I have yet to come up with it)
